Themes of Red Big Fire Truck Include Patriotic Dreams and Miracles

(Rock Rapids, IA) – A story about patriotic dreams and the incredible miracle of family, Red Big Fire Truck is now available on DVD from Bridgestone Multimedia Group.

After suffering a broken leg playing high school football, Oliver Grayson’s dream of joining the United States Naval Academy after graduation is in serious doubt. With just a few days left before his Candidate Fitness Assessment (CFA), Oliver shares his story with his friends and thousands more on Young Patriot Radio and the Armed Forces Radio Network.

Reflecting on his incredible journey through an orphanage, a halfway house, and nine foster homes after the death of his parents, Oliver fondly recalls his unlikely friendship as a six-year-old boy with Mr. Tom, a heartbroken woodworker who finds a renewed hope in carving a fire truck from a fallen log of a white sycamore tree. Now, as Oliver enters the final days of training for his CFA, the grueling 1-mile run at the end of the test pushes his healing leg and his faith to the limits.

Red Big Fire Truck is a story of faith, love, and hope,” wrote Donna Rolfe in her review for The Dove Foundation. “Oliver always felt love and never gave up on his prayers to God to find his family. We are proud to award this film the Dove “Faith-Friendly” Seal for all ages.”

Starring Oliver McKellips, Sam Teft, and Lauren Peck, Red Big Fire Truck is currently on sale for $8.99 from Bridgestone Multimedia Group through the Christianbook Group.
