Explore how mankind's wrath has been unleashed upon the weakest members of our society in Of Man and Beast. Though ancient history records atrocities committed by men since the fall of man, the 20th century was the bloodiest in history. In addition, through the philosophies of Neo-Darwinian evolution, natural selection, and "survival of the fittest," man no longer views others as made in the image of God.

Join historian John Eidsmoe, Pastor Mark Liddle, Dr. Lance Radbill, and Dr. William McKenzie as they travel through the labyrinth of man's depravity and explore the history and impact of eugenics, the desire of improving the human race through specific selection.

Dove Worldview:

This documentary intelligently shows how some people restrict God in their lives, just as some institutions refuse to acknowledge the Ten Commandments, and what happens as a result. As a result, according to history, you inherit despots who believe in eugenics, breeding a superior race of people while eliminating what some would call "weak" people, as there are those who obviously do not see in them the image of God. You inherit those who see life as cheap, those who would starve their own people to death.

The documentary is intense at times, showing briefly but yet several times photos of holocaust victims, some starving, some dead and the skeletal remains of some victims as seen in gas ovens. On the other hand, the documentary features various leaders such as Pastor Mark Liddle of Dominion Baptist church, and various experts in the field of human behavior and history who demonstrate a solid faith in Christianity. So many parts of the DVD are positive and uplifting.

We believe the merits of this documentary outweigh the uncomfortable moments which are seen, moments of war and a few violent ones. But those who are easily upset by images of death may want to skip this one. For those who desire to view this, they will see an outstanding DVD which clearly shows what happens to society when God is pushed aside. We award this DVD our Dove "Family-Approved" Seal for ages twelve plus, due to the mature and intense scenes.
