After being abandoned at the orphanage by her mother, 15-year-old Candy Walters is confused, angry, and in desperate need of a friend. Fortunately for Candy, the orphanage's teacher and several other girls reach out to help. However, the orphanage's administrator and an unethical businessman strike up a shady deal to sell all the girls for personal gain. Catching wind of the plot, Candy and her new friends decide to save themselves by taking matters into their own hands. After running away, the girls head to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Through God's loving direction, the girls are directed to the right people, including Candy's divine encounter with Rachel Joy Scott, a student from Columbine High School on vacation the summer before her tragic death. A heartwarming film you won't soon forget, Little Angels will transform your perspective on the value of family and friends.

Dove Worldview:
Here is an intriguing story of a group of young kids who run away from an orphanage after they discover that some shady things are going on. The children stow-away on a tour bus and go to a town sixty miles from the orphanage. There the children part into groups and experience a unique story.
This is a faith based story that deals with many issues of today. One pair of girls reveals the story of what can happen to runaways when they get involved with the wrong person, a person of unsavory characteristics who deals in drugs and prostitution. Another story is that of a couple who find out that they cannot have children and the problems they encounter when they try to adopt and how their lives change when they meet one of the girls. Then there is the tale of a woman who gives her teenage daughter to the orphanage, without telling the child the real reason she is doing it. Then there is the story of a father who never knew he had a child.
There are many stories within this film which happen in the world today, stories the viewer can relate to.
