Dove Worldview:
Here is an inspiring documentary, hosted by the knowledgeable Victoria Barrett, who lived in West Virginia as a child and now makes her home in Turkey. She takes the viewer through parts of Turkey and Istanbul and re-steps many crucial steps of early Christianity including the journey of Paul and Barnabas. She takes the viewer to an amphitheater where many Christians came face to face with various beasts like lions. She also traces the roots of what is known as Mary's final home and the burial place of St. John the Divine.
This is a fascinating journey and Victoria Barrett is an intelligent guide. We gladly award this DVD our Dove "Family-Approved" Seal and suggest you watch it and visually enjoy it in addition to learning some facts you might not have previously known. These facts include a tasty dish known as Noah's pudding, and the fact John the Revelator allegedly dug a grave for himself in the shape of a cross.
